If you think this is just an ordinary P.E. class think again. Fitness Friday gives students a chance to dip their toe into something off the beaten path. This particular class gives Mr. Foss a chance to share his Yoga acumen.

Lauryn (8th grade) and her sister Laurel (6th grade) both participated in the 14th Annual Youth Education Conference, held at the Ronald V. Dellums Federal Building in Oakland on March 2, 2013. They were part of a team that created a plan for a fictional school and presented their plan to the other conference attendees. In this competitive case study, "designed to expose students to several of the fundamental concepts associated with owning a business," the girls' team won first place.
